These Crabby Shrimp-Stuffed Garlic Bread Bombs are everything you love — warm, crispy bread loaded with a rich, cheesy, seafood filling. Perfect as an appetizer, game-day snack, or indulgent side dish for seafood lovers!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf crusty Italian bread
  • 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup cooked crab meat (lump or imitation)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Extra parsley and grated parmesan for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Filling:

In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp, season lightly with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, about 2–3 minutes per side. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, and chop into bite-sized pieces.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, parsley, minced garlic, and crab meat. Stir in the cooked shrimp. Mix until creamy and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

2. Prep the Bread:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Slice the Italian loaf in half lengthwise, then hollow out some of the soft bread from the center to create space for the filling.

3. Fill & Bake:

Spread the shrimp and crab mixture evenly into the hollowed-out bread halves.

Brush the tops and edges of the bread with melted butter for extra flavor.

Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the filling is hot and bubbly.

4. Garnish & Serve:

Sprinkle with extra parsley and grated parmesan, if desired. Slice into smaller portions and serve warm.

Serving Suggestions:

✅ Great for parties, potlucks, or as a seafood appetizer.
✅ Pairs perfectly with a side salad or a bowl of creamy soup.
✅ For extra spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the filling.
