Chicken Fried Steak with Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
4 cube steaks
1 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
Vegetable oil (for frying)
For Mashed Potatoes:
4 potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Mix flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
2. Whisk eggs and milk in another bowl.
3. Coat steaks in flour, then egg mixture, then flour again.
4. Heat oil and fry steaks for 4-5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
5. Boil potatoes until soft, mash with butter and milk. Season to taste.
