Zesty Dorito Taco Salad with a Kick

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 1 (15 ounces) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (15 ounces) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (12 ounces) bag nacho cheese-flavored Doritos, crushed
  • 1 cup Catalina salad dressing

Directions:

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain the excess fat.
  2. Add the taco seasoning mix and water to the beef. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, kidney beans, corn, cherry tomatoes, black olives, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Add the seasoned beef to the salad and mix well.
  5. Just before serving, add the crushed Doritos and Catalina dressing. Toss to coat.
