Mushroom-Ham Puff Pastry – Crispy, Creamy & Irresistible

Ingredients
* 1 sheet Frozen puff pastry (thawed)
* Filling: 1/2 lb deli ham, 1 cup sautéed mushrooms, 1.5 cups shredded Swiss or Gruyère cheese
* Finish: 1 egg (for egg wash) and dried herbs
Instructions
* Prep: Sauté mushrooms until dry to prevent a soggy pastry.
* Fill: Layer ham, mushrooms, and cheese down the center third of the pastry sheet.
* Braid: Cut diagonal strips on the sides and fold them over the center in an alternating pattern.
* Bake: Brush with egg wash and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes.
