Italian Stromboli

Ingredients:

  • 1 (1 pound) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1/4 pound sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 pound sliced ham
  • 1/4 pound sliced salami
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a large rectangle, about 10×14 inches.
  3. Arrange the pepperoni, ham, and salami evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle with mozzarella, Cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses. Season with oregano, basil, and garlic powder.
  4. Starting with one of the long sides, roll the dough up tightly, sealing the edges by pinching them together. Place the rolled dough seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Brush the top with the beaten egg.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
