Ingredients
* The Filling:
* 1 lb ground beef (85% lean)
* 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
* 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped
* 1/2 small onion, finely diced
* 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
* Salt and pepper to taste
* The Wrap:
* 1 tube (approx. 13 oz) refrigerated pizza crust or crescent roll dough
* The Topping:
* 3 tbsp butter, melted
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
* 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
* Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef and diced onions until the beef is fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
* Season: Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture cool slightly so it doesn’t melt the dough instantly.
* Prepare the Dough: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Unroll your dough onto a piece of parchment paper. If using pizza dough, roll it into a large rectangle. If using crescent rolls, pinch the seams together to create one solid sheet.
* Layer the Ingredients: * Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border at the edges.
* Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped bacon over the beef.
* Roll It Up: Starting from the long side, roll the dough tightly into a log (like a cinnamon roll). Pinch the seam to seal it.
* Slice & Bake: Use a sharp knife to slice the log into 1 to 1.5-inch thick rounds. Place them cut-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
* Add the Garlic Butter: Whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Brush this generously over the tops and sides of each rollup.
* Cook: Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Quick Tip
For an even “burger” flavor, serve these with a side of “Special Sauce” (a mix of mayo, ketchup, mustard, and relish) for dipping!
