Chicken Parmesan Grilled Cheese Sandwich – a melty masterpiece!
Ingredients:
2 thick slices of your fave bread (sourdough or Italian works wonders)
1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded or thinly sliced
½ cup marinara sauce (spicy or classic, your call)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp olive oil or butter
½ tsp dried basil (optional but tasty)
½ tsp garlic powder (optional kick)
Instructions:
1. Chicken prep:
Use freshly cooked or leftover chicken. Shred or slice, season with salt & pepper. Pro tip: a dash of Italian seasoning takes it up a notch.
2. Stack it up:
Spread marinara on one side of both bread slices.
On one slice, layer chicken, then pile on the mozzarella and Parmesan.
Sprinkle dried basil and garlic powder for that herby, garlicky depth.
Cap it with the second slice, sauce side in.
3. Grill to thrill:
Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet on medium heat.
Grill the sandwich for 3–4 minutes per side until golden, crispy, and gooey. Press gently with a spatula for that perfect crunch.
