DIY Natural Pest Control with Cayenne Pepper
What You’ll Need:
2 tablespoons cayenne pepper (or chili powder)
1 liter of water
1 teaspoon dish soap (optional, helps it stick to plants)
Spray bottle
Instructions:
1. In a container, mix the cayenne pepper with water.
2. Add dish soap (if using) and stir well.
3. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle.
4. Spray directly on affected plants, focusing on areas with aphids or slug activity.
Why It Works:
Aphids & Small Insects: The capsaicin in cayenne pepper naturally repels them.
Slugs & Snails: The strong scent and spicy taste discourage them from munching on your plants.
Tip: Reapply after rain or heavy watering for continued protection!
