Homemade Mango Ice Cream Recipe

Homemade Mango Ice Cream Recipe

Nothing beats the refreshing taste of homemade mango ice cream! This creamy, fruity dessert is easy to make with just four ingredients—no ice cream maker needed!

Ingredients:
• 2 large mangoes (or enough to make 1 cup of mango pulp)
• 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
• 2 cups heavy cream
• 2 drops yellow food coloring (optional)

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Mangoes – Slice the mangoes, scoop out the flesh, and discard the pit and skin. Blend the mango flesh into a smooth, applesauce-like consistency.
2. Mix the Ingredients – In a large bowl, combine the mango pulp, condensed milk, and heavy cream.
3. Whip the Mixture – Using an electric mixer at low speed, beat the mixture until it starts to thicken. Increase the speed to medium and continue beating for 8-10 minutes until stiff peaks form.
4. Add Food Coloring (Optional) – While beating, add a few drops of yellow food coloring until you achieve the desired shade.
5. Freeze the Ice Cream – Pour the mixture into a 9×5-inch loaf pan. Cover with plastic wrap, pressing it gently against the surface to prevent ice crystals.
6. Chill & Serve – Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight. Serve frozen and enjoy!

💛 Tip: For extra texture, fold in diced mango chunks before freezing!
