Easy No-Knead Garlic Focaccia Bread

Easy No-Knead Garlic Focaccia Bread

Ingredients:
3 ½ cups (440g) all-purpose flour
2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
1 ½ cups (360ml) warm water (about 110°F/45°C)
4 tbsp olive oil, divided
2-3 cloves garlic, finely minced

Instructions:

1. Activate the Yeast: In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.

2. Mix the Dough: Add flour and salt to the bowl and stir with a wooden spoon until combined. The dough will be sticky—this is normal!

3. First Rise: Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the dough, cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a clean towel, and let it rise at room temperature for 2-3 hours, or until doubled in size.

4. Prepare the Pan: Grease a baking pan (9×13-inch) with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Transfer the risen dough into the pan and gently stretch it to fit.

5. Second Rise: Cover and let it rise again for about 30-40 minutes.

6. Add Garlic & Dimples: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Mix the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil with minced garlic. Use your fingers to create dimples in the dough, then drizzle the garlic oil on top.

7. Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

8. Cool & Serve: Let it cool slightly before slicing. Enjoy!
