Garlic Shrimp Pasta
Ingredients:
1 lb medium shrimp, deveined and tails removed
1 lb spaghetti noodles (adjust quantity as needed)
6-8 garlic cloves, minced (adjust to taste)
1/4 cup butter
Olive oil (3 drizzles)
Italian seasoning, to taste
Fresh ground pepper, to taste
Red pepper flakes, to taste
Salt, to taste
Fresh herbs, to taste (such as parsley or basil)
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
Boil the pasta in salted water until tender. Optionally, enhance the flavor by adding a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of fresh herbs to the water. First, reserve 1 cup of pasta water. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
Prepare the Shrimp:
As the pasta is boiling, rinse and gently pat the shrimp dry.
Cook the Shrimp:
In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat.Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, until they start turning pink and curl .
