Shrimp Boil 🦐
Ingredients:
For the Boil:
1.5 lb Jumbo shrimp
1 lb baby potatoes
2 ears corn, halved
4 boiled eggs
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 lemon, quartered
4 tbsp Old Bay or Cajun seasoning
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
8 cups water
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
3 sticks unsalted butter
3 tbsp garlic, minced
1/2 cup onion, diced
2 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
1/2 tbsp lemon pepper
1/2 tbsp oregano
1/2 tbsp paprika
1/2 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 chicken bouillon cube
1 tbsp brown sugar

Steps:
1. Make the Sauce:
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the garlic and onion for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and slightly softened.
Stir in Old Bay, spices, and brown sugar. Cook for 3 minutes.
Add bouillon cube, bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
2. Cook Potatoes & Corn:
Boil water in a large pot. Add seasoning, garlic, lemon, and potatoes.
Cook potatoes for 10-12 minutes, then add corn and cook for 5 more minutes.
3. Cook Shrimp:
Add shrimp to the pot, cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink.
Drain and discard lemon wedges.
4. Combine and Serve:
Pour garlic butter sauce over shrimp, corn, eggs, and potatoes. Toss everything to coat.
Serve on a large platter.
