Pizza Dough Ingredients:

1 tsp sugar

1 cup warm water

2 1/4 tsp yeast (1 packet)

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp Italian seasoning (optional)

4 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

1. Proof the Yeast:

Mix sugar, 1/2 cup warm water, and yeast in a bowl. Stir and let sit for 10 minutes until bubbly.

2. Mix the Dough:

Combine flour, salt, and Italian seasoning in a separate bowl. Add to the yeast mixture along with 3 tbsp olive oil and the remaining 1/2 cup warm water.

Knead by hand or use a dough hook on a mixer for 5 minutes until the dough is smooth and stretchy.

3. Let the Dough Rise:

Coat a bowl with 1 tbsp olive oil. Place the dough inside, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm spot for 30 minutes.

4. Stretch the Dough:

Lightly flour your surface and knead the dough briefly. Roll it out to a 12-inch circle.

5. Bake the Pizza:

Preheat oven to 450°F. Grease the pan or sprinkle with cornmeal for a crunchy base.

Add toppings and bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.

Homemade Pizza Sauce Ingredients:

1 (28-oz) can whole tomatoes

2 tbsp olive oil

1/4 cup grated onion

3/4 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

3 garlic cloves, minced

2 tsp sugar

1 tsp salt

Instructions:

1. Crush the tomatoes by hand or with a blender to make a chunky sauce.

2. Heat olive oil in a pan. Add onion, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 3–4 minutes.

3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in the tomatoes, sugar, and salt. Simmer for 30 minutes.

4. Adjust seasoning and use immediately, refrigerate for 1 week, or freeze for 3 months.

Homemade White Pizza Sauce Ingredients:

2 tbsp unsalted butter

2 garlic cloves, minced

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

1 cup whole milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 tsp Italian seasoning

1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions:

1. In a saucepan set over medium heat, melt the butter until it begins to sizzle gently. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.

2. Stir in flour and whisk for 1 minute. Gradually add milk and cream, whisking constantly.

3. Cook for 2–3 minutes until thickened.

4. Reduce heat and stir in Parmesan, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Cook until smooth.

5. Use immediately or store in the fridge for up to 4 days.

How to Use:

Pizza Sauce: Spread over dough and top with mozzarella, pepperoni, or your favorite ingredients.
White Sauce: Use for white pizzas, pasta, or as a dip for breadsticks.
