Homemade BBQ Sauce

A bold and flavorful barbecue sauce with the perfect balance of tangy, sweet, and smoky notes—great for grilling, dipping, or marinating!

Ingredients:

1 cup ketchup

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp liquid smoke

1 tablespoon of hot sauce, with the amount adjustable to suit your spice level.

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions:

1. Combine Ingredients:
In a medium saucepan, mix all ingredients together over medium heat.

2. Simmer:
Mix thoroughly and heat the mixture until it reaches a gentle simmer.

3. Cook:
Lower the heat and let the sauce cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

4. Taste & Adjust:
Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning as needed for your desired flavor.

5. Cool Down:
Take the sauce off the heat and allow it to cool down fully.

6. Store:
Pour the sauce into an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator for up to a week.
