Ingredients
For the Filling:
Ground Beef: 1 lb (500g), 80/20 blend for juiciness.
Seasoning: ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper, and ½ tsp garlic powder.
Cheese: 1 cup shredded cheddar or 4–6 slices of American cheese.
Pickles: Sliced jalapeños or dill pickles (as seen in the photo).
Onion: ¼ cup finely diced.
Tortillas: 4 large flour tortillas (burrito size).
The “Secret” Burger Sauce:
Mayonnaise: 3 tbsp
Ketchup: 2 tbsp
Mustard: 1 tsp
Instructions
1. Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with the salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Drain the excess fat so the wraps don’t get soggy.
Stir in the diced onions for the last 2 minutes of cooking just to soften them.
2. Assemble the Wraps
Lay a tortilla flat. Spread a little burger sauce in the center.
Add a generous scoop of the cooked beef.
Top with plenty of cheese and your pickles or jalapeños.
Folding: Fold the sides in, then roll tightly from the bottom up (like a burrito).
3. Air Fry
Place the wraps in the air fryer basket, seam-side down (this keeps them from opening).
Lightly spray the tops with oil for extra crunch.
Air fry at 200°C for 5–7 minutes, or until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese inside has completely melted.
Tips for a Better Result
The Crunch: If you don’t have an air fryer, you can achieve a similar result in a dry skillet over medium heat, pressing down with a spatula.
Customization: Feel free to add cooked bacon bits or even a few French fries inside the wrap before rolling!
Dipping: Serve with extra burger sauce on the side for dipping.
