Honey Garlic Chicken Drumsticks

Ingredients
​For the Chicken:
​Chicken Drumsticks: 10–12 pieces (cleaned and patted dry)
​Olive Oil: 2 tbsp
​Salt & Black Pepper: To taste
​Garlic Powder: 1 tsp
​Paprika: 1 tsp
​For the Sticky Glaze:
​Honey: 1/2 cup
​Soy Sauce: 4 tbsp (preferably low sodium)
​Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
​Lemon Juice: 1 tbsp
​Unsalted Butter: 1 tbsp
​Instructions
​Season the Chicken: In a large bowl, toss the drumsticks with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
​Initial Bake: Arrange the chicken in a baking dish or on a parchment-lined tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 30–35 minutes, turning halfway through.
​Prepare the Glaze: While the chicken is baking, combine the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and butter in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium-low heat for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens into a glossy syrup.
​Glaze and Caramelize: Remove the chicken from the oven and brush generously with the honey garlic sauce. Return to the oven for another 10–15 minutes.
​Tip: For that extra charred look seen in the photo, turn on the broiler (grill) for the last 2–3 minutes until bubbly and dark golden.
​Garnish: Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley or sesame seeds before serving.
