Ingredients
Eggroll Wrappers: 12 (standard 7-inch size)
Honey Ham: 12 slices (thinly sliced)
Mozzarella String Cheese: 12 sticks
Egg: 1 (beaten, to seal the wrappers)
Melted Butter: 3 tbsp
Seasoning: ½ tsp garlic powder and ½ tsp dried parsley (to mix with the butter)
Breadcrumbs (Optional): ¼ cup Panko for extra crunch on the outside.
Instructions
1. Prep the Filling
Take one slice of honey ham and wrap it tightly around a mozzarella string cheese stick. This “ham coat” prevents the cheese from leaking out too quickly.
2. Roll the Wraps
Place one eggroll wrapper on a clean surface in a diamond shape.
Place the ham-wrapped cheese in the center.
Fold the bottom corner over the cheese, then fold in the left and right sides.
Roll upward tightly. Use a finger dipped in the beaten egg to moisten the top edge and seal it shut.
3. The Crispy Coating
Mix the melted butter with garlic powder and parsley.
Lightly brush each roll with the seasoned butter.
If you want that extra textured look from the photo, roll the buttered sticks in a plate of Panko breadcrumbs.
4. Bake
Preheat your oven to 200°C.
Place the sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and the cheese is just starting to bubble at the ends.
Pro Tips
Air Fryer Option: These work amazingly in the air fryer! Cook at 200°C for 6–8 minutes for maximum crunch.
The “Leak” Factor: Make sure your eggroll wrappers are sealed well. If the cheese starts to leak, it’s time to take them out!
Dipping: These are delicious dipped in honey mustard or a spicy marinara sauce.
