These sweet and salty Salted Caramel Cracker Bites are dangerously addictive! Crispy oyster crackers coated in buttery caramel with a hint of cinnamon — perfect for snacking, parties, or gifting.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
- 1 bag (9 oz) oyster crackers
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
1. Prep & Preheat (5 minutes)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the oyster crackers in a single, even layer across the pan.
2. Make the Caramel (5 minutes)
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
Stir in the brown sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon.
Let the mixture simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently, until it thickens slightly and begins to bubble.
3. Coat the Crackers (2 minutes)
Pour the warm caramel evenly over the oyster crackers.
Gently toss with a spatula to coat all the crackers well.
4. Bake (7–9 minutes)
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.
Bake for 7–9 minutes, or until golden and bubbling. Keep a close eye to avoid over-baking.
5. Cool & Break Apart
Remove from the oven and let the crackers cool completely on the baking sheet.
Once cooled and hardened, break into bite-sized pieces.
