Garlic Shrimp Pasta 🦐🍝

Ingredients:

1 lb medium shrimp, deveined and tails removed

1 lb spaghetti (adjust based on servings)

6-8 garlic cloves, minced (adjust to taste)

¼ cup butter

3 drizzles olive oil

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Fresh ground black pepper, to taste

Red pepper flakes, to taste

Salt, to taste

Fresh herbs (such as parsley or basil)

Instructions:
1️⃣ Cook the pasta: Boil spaghetti in salted water with a drizzle of oil and fresh herbs until tender. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining. Set pasta aside.

2️⃣ Prepare the shrimp: While the pasta cooks, rinse and pat dry the shrimp.

3️⃣ Sauté the shrimp: Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until they start turning pink and curling.

4️⃣ Add garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 5-7 minutes. Drizzle in olive oil and continue stirring until shrimp are fully cooked.

5️⃣ Combine everything: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, along with Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Gradually pour in the reserved pasta water (starting with ¼ cup) until the dish reaches a silky, moist consistency—avoid excess liquid.

6️⃣ Toss and serve: Mix everything thoroughly over medium heat until well combined and heated through.
