Chicken Chow Mein

Here’s a quick and easy version of Chicken Chow Mein you can whip up in no time:

Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced3 tbsp oil (vegetable or canola)12 oz chow mein noodles (cook as per package instructions)2 cups cabbage, shreddedFor the Sauce:1/4 cup soy sauce2 tbsp oyster sauce1 tbsp hoisin sauce1 tsp sesame oil1 tsp sugar1/4 cup chicken broth

  1. Cook Noodles:

Boil chow mein noodles until just tender. Drain and set aside.

2. Prep Sauce:

Mix all sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.

3. Cook Chicken:

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken slices and stir-fry until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

4. Cook Veggies:

In the same skillet, add remaining oil. Stir-fry shredded cabbage for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.

5. Combine:

Add noodles and chicken back into the skillet. Pour the sauce over everything. Toss until evenly coated and heated through.

6. Serve:

Plate it up and enjoy with chopsticks (or a fork)!
