Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup uncooked long grain white rice
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, rice, 1/2 cup water, onion, salt, celery salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined. Shape into 1 1/2-inch meatballs.
- Place the meatballs in a baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the tomato sauce, 1 cup water, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the meatballs.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through and rice is tender.
